Teaching

Science can seem intimidating for both science majors and non-majors alike. I hope through my courses that I can show my students how approachable and diverse the scientific world and its opportunities are. My overall goal is to inspire students to lead their own learning experience with curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. My courses include hands-on experience with methods, embed creativity into assessments, and highlight the importance of historical context to understand how knowledge is produced and presented.
